The only thing a TMS can do it show when a tire is low on air. If a catastrophic tire failure occurs the TMS won't warn you. Yes, tire failure does happen that fast.
That is why I don't like SBR. I ran rag tires for years and only had one tire blowout in 35+ years of trailering. With the rag tire there was no steel belt whipping around at 70 MPH tearing your trailer up like a mad dog.
