I doubt the SES can cause the unexpected height-load results.
However, a high level of pitch-axis torque between ball and coupler could affect the relationship between height and load.
The high level of longitudinal force between the Andersen's ball and the coupler could be causing a high level of torque -- especially if no grease is being used on the ball.
Other Andersen users have reported unexpected height-load values.
One of them reported returning the front end to the unhitched height while only 40% of the load was returned to the front axle.
