Congrats. I retired early at 62 and am glad I did. Living the full-time RV lifestyle for many years I found it to be relatively inexpensive so my social security plus a little bit of income from a money market account allows me to live within my means.
True, there are times when greater expenditure is necessary, such as repairs, tires, etc. so it's advisable to have a nest egg to cover these unforeseen expenses.
