1 Kilometer = 5 Furlongs
What's that in roods and chains?
Unofficially it varies from 17" to 22" with the average being ~19.7" or ~500cm.
The cubit is the distance from the elbow to the tip of the middle finger and because it is rare for both arms of a person to be exactly the same length, you have a "right cubit" and a "left cubit".
If you really want to be cornfused, look at the standards for film ...
e.g.
35mm film has 8 frames per foot in your still camera and 16 frames per foot in a movie camera. - dodge_guyExplorer IIOK Smart...`s how many Fathoms is that?!

Ummmm, no, but close.
1 kilometer is 1,000 meters which is 3,048 feet.
A furlong is 660 feet which would be 3,300 feet or 252 feet longer. - camperpaulExplorer

Might me a good idea to find out as the U. S. has been "metric" since 1866.
