I upgraded to a Smart phone last quarter of last year - best thing I ever did in electronic gadgetry for this elderly RVer. You can find all sorts of stuff right near wherever you are when on-the-road in an unfamiliar area. Sometimes, it's good to stick with the reliability of the known-to-you National chain, but then again, if you don't try a new place, you won't know if you're missing out on a restaurant you'd really like. I've been burnt about 50/50 when trying a new place, so, it's always a gamble to me. I just don't ever stop there again, so it's a learning experience.
