When we upgraded RVs a few years ago, we told the dealer it was ok to give the person who bought our old RV our contact info. Won't do that again! When he called, I tried to tell him how I kept the Splendide and Norcold running and he just blew me off. Hubby tried to tell him some of the "lessons learned" on the mechanicals and again, he just blew him off. What the new owner wanted to know was, why did we lie about having pets?!? Told him, we didn't, and the dealer even came out to play with our cats. So in trying to be helpful, we got the blame for a salesman's lie.
We finally had to tell the new owner, "Look, you didn't buy it from us, you bought it from a dealer."
