consider this. it's dark, the heater goes out. you know its a fuse but you cant tell right away.you get a flash light, you lay on the ground after removing the fuse face plate. Interesting product but not something I would buy. In the past 30 years I doubt I have used more than a handful of fuses and most of those have been on the chassis not the rig. Most furnace issues are associated with low battery rather than blown fuses and many of use have switched to electric heaters when we have shore power so we would check circuit breaker rather than fuse when those go out. Just my 02.

It's no different than the 12V fuse panels that have blown fuse lights in the fuse panel, just with the LED (and associated resistor) in the fuse rather than the panel. The fuses presumably would have a pair of LEDs back-to-back so as to be polarity insensitive.An ordinary multimeter suffices to check fuses. You can either check for voltage across them when in place (there should be none) or check the resistance when they're pulled (it should be a short circuit).I personally would not bother with these fuses because I have a fuse tester/puller in my RV all the time, and my fuse panel is inside rather than outside, and the fuses are reasonably well labeled so that it's not too much of a guessing game to figure out which one would be keeping the furnace from running.

You have a flashlight? Replace the one marked 'heater' or 'furnace' or some abbreviation. Maybe you need to label them? At least number them and make a road map on a 3x5 card to tape inside the panel door.Can't remember the last time a random fuse blew during normal operation. Usually it is myself crossing a wire when working on something.

Getting back on track - One thing I considered, when we were having fuses blow, was to build a circuit breaker panel, bring all the power sources to that panel and distribute them per the original configuration. That way, I'd know where all the power interrupters were and could spot the "popped" one quickly.

We quit RVing before I did that job.
