Finding fire tools is very easy.. I know of one person who makes a giant size poker for campfires. but standard fireplace tools work very well for many and you can find those at many hardware stores and every fireplace store from coast to coast. no tribble at all.
That said.. I use whatever is handy.... Or rather I likely will if I ever build another campfire.
