We usually don't have anything fancy. Usually a hand fan from a fair, you know the ones with the paint stir stick on them. When the break they become fire wood too. Seems we always find another every year. I have an old telescopic shovel handle that I use as a poker. My friend uses a broken golf club shaft. Neither take up too much room and are both worthless if we lose them.
