Thank you for responding. I would love nothing more than to name this resort, but will wait until after talking to my lawyer and their corporate office to do so.
As a restaurant manager, I am a firm believer that if a customer has a problem, you should do what you can as the customer to bring it to the attention of the manager, so that you give that manager the opportunity to fix it or explain to you why it is going on before you go over their head or post something online. This is why we tried to go through the management there first.
I certainly am not asking to be treated exceptionally, but just fairly and be given the opportunity as a guest to correct anything we have done wrong. While we are new to RV ing, we are not new to customer service. We paid a lot of money to be there and have a nice vacation.
