Second year for us. We bring RV in from storage a couple of days ahead and park it out of the way at a friend's business parking lot (with permission). Day before we left, 6" of snow fell, the guys came and cleaned the parking lot and left a nice high windrow of snow along our rv, so we had to move it by hand before we could get out of there!
Last year we stayed in motels on the way down and this yr we were determined to sleep in the rv and save the money. First night at a fairgrounds and had electricity !!! $11 in the drop box and we were more than happy to do that !!! Simplified things a lot.
