Fishing on the Road while staying in a RV (help)

I am an East Texas Bass Fisherman, looking to do some traveling with my new RV. But...since I won't have a boat with me, and don't plan on hiring a guide, I am somewhat limited as to where I can go. ...

My husband and I Kayak'd in Hawaii once and LOVED it. We are in the process of planning to retire in a yr and go full time RVing. He jokingly said "We could buy a Kayak". I said "Ya, I could steer it and you can fish from it." LOL!!
