100% agree. Delving into fly tying is an additional part of the experience and another hobby that is also quite satisfying, however not required. It is something one can do in the evening sitting in your RV. I would agree on the saves money for tackle but unfortunately, getting starting fly tying requires a decent investment too but that can be gathered over time. Pick a few patterns to start with then expand as needed.
I actually bought an unfinished "secretary hutch" and tailored it to a fly tying hutch which is also portable and easy to move in/out of our TT. Similar to this design but the top I added a hinge and there is no shelf in the top section. All materials get stored in small plastic boxes which fit below and the fold-out area provides ample work area. Just need good additional lighting and magnifier
