I've had my portabote for about 4 years now and I believe I've already got back my money in the enjoyment I've had on the water. Sure you can buy similar sized boats for less, but not one that you mount on the side of your travel trailer, or pick up and carry by yourself. We are budget campers. We have a bottom of the line TT (2012 Starcraft 235fb). We don't throw our money around easily. Without a doubt, this was a worthwhile purchase for the wife and me.
