The OP has been back to the thread three times since he posted it, last on 11/27.
He may be waiting for B&W to examine the hitch, may be waiting for the insurance to settle. He is lucky in that it only damaged his TV and 5rt.
I agree he is getting a lot of flack, in that most believe, it can happen as described if the hitch is near new and working as designed.
Omen of the things about the B&W hitch that has always worried me is the pivot point of the hitch jaws is forward of the center of the jaws. This means you need a mechanism that will keep the pin from forcing them open.
This is also one of the reasons I am sticking with my Reese twin jaw, with the Reese, the pivot point for the jaws is behind the center point of the jaws. This way the harder you pull on the pin the harder the jaws are forced shut!
