Sorry these are not the best pictures but here is what I can tell you about two little concerns I have. That spring back there is attached to the cam and lever that hold the jaws closed. This is obviously in the open position.

This is how it is attached to the outside.
Now after seeing this work more closely, I'm not too happy with how much preload is on this spring let alone, "in my opinion", it could be bigger...way bigger. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? OK, I will throw one more thing out there. The cam and wedge that are attached to the lever are a two piece part. It is welded together at the top but not at the bottom. It looks like a real good weld but why would you not weld it on both sides? If you look closely you can see there is no weld under the cam...mmm??? Comments welcomed
