Drum roll please....So this is what I'm thinking.
It is a no brainer....if the pin or lock is out the lever stays latched. Simple, effective, loss of property and possibly a life avoided. I have a couple more designs...I am coming up with a no drill retrofit idea using that tang...but would like to see a more built in permanent solution....this was just a quick 3 minute idea...sorry it should have a radius at the pivot point.
