In addition the US flag code is a guidline, not a law. Though many states or municipalities do have laws based upon it.
Of course in my case no problem since I'm "Grounded" in the US (It only took the President 3 years to get an "Amended" copy of his birth certificate and he and I have something in common... The reason his is "Amended".. I've not yet started that process for my certificate, I can't re-enter the country without a passport, And I need the birth cert to get one.. SO....
