We try to fly it whenever we are set up in the US for more than a week or two.
It seems to me that it would be more respctfull of the two flags to display both of them. A "friendship" flag is neither an American,nor a Canadian flag. We respect each others flags and countries,but we are not one country.
I have seen the flag that you are describing,it made me wonder if one of the owners is Canadian and the other an American.
