Open the glove box and take out the owners manual. Look up recreational towing. It will state right there if it can be towed 4-down or needs a dolly.
yep, no rocket science here. when in doubt, read the directions.

Dinghy Towing (1.5L Engine without Active Shutters. RPO VRI)
Vehicles with active shutters cannot be dinghy towed.
To dinghy tow the vehicle from the front with all four wheels on the ground:
1. Position the vehicle to tow and then secure it to the towing vehicle.
2. Start the engine and place vehicle in N (Neutral).
3. Press ENGINE START/STOP once to turn the engine off. See Ignition Positions 0 227.
4. To prevent the battery from draining while the vehicle is being towed, remove fuses F10 and F41, from the instrument panel fuse block.
See Instrument Panel Fuse Block 0 317.
Remember to reinstall the fuses once the destination has been reached - lanerdExplorer IINow only will it tell you "if" it can, it will also tell you "how" you can.

4 To prevent the battery from draining while the vehicle is being towed, remove the Discrete Logic Ignition Switch fuse from the instrument panel fuse block.
5 The vehicle should be run at the beginning of each day and at each RV fuel stop for about five minutes.
6 Only vehicles equipped with a 1.5-liter engine without Active Shutters RPO VRI can be towed four wheels down. To prevent the battery from draining while
the vehicle is being towed, remove fuses F10 and F41 from the instrument panel fuse block. - LwiddisExplorer IIWant my opinion or the one that counts? Chevrolet!
