I'm getting ready to replace my floor in my 2005 Wildwood TT. I bought the vinyl you glue down. I'm wondering if it would be better to buy the type that floats? I was going to cut the old floor out and use it for a pattern for the new vinyl. I bought new carpet for the slide as well. My trailer is kept in Northern MN.
Go by the manufacturer warranty requirements. Some require full glue, some allow loose lay or perimeter glue, some will allow several gluing options. Depends on backing and material. If properly installed over a properly prepared floor I don't think your new floor would crack as it will not be installed under the walls etc. and will likely be better quality. IMO
