It's been pretty much proven that cell phone usage causes serious distractions, unlike tuning the radio, snacking on a burger, etc. Do a little reading on the subject and you may be convinced...or maybe not.
I’ve got 3 motorcycles and been riding for 45 yrs. I’m also a licensed pilot, I said I agree with the texting bit but I think driving in general requires the ability to multitask. I also know there are some people that shouldn’t be on the road at all.
