I've visited Arizona and other parts of the SW and like it - it's a nice change. But after a few days I need to see something that's green and alive.
Right now it's 78 degrees and sunny, my lawn is bright green, I have flowers in bloom, and across the street there is even a tree with blooming flowers. That's why we like it to rain once in a while down here.
Yes, it's going to be cold here on Mon and Tues but then the temps bounce back up into the upper 70's.
This is the dry season. I doubt if we get rain even once a week between November and about April. If you want to see real rain, come on down during summer. The word 'Monsoon' applies.
