I think C-Bears response is EXACTLY why many of us don't go to Flying J or other truck stops. I'm in a motor home and 65' long, which is much more difficult to negotiate in tight spots than a fifth wheel, yet many of us use regular gas stations without issue.
Sure, we shouldn't be whining about a few cents a gallon, but do you laugh at .35 - .50 cents a gallon as Flying J has been charging at a LOT of locations.
No waiting behind cars while people are shopping. How about waiting behind trucks while they're shopping and yacking. Oh....and while you're waiting, you can stand in the spilled diesel fuel covered with absorbent material for the third time.
Best part....if you need a break, you can take a few minutes and rest....after you spend 20 minutes threading your away around a bunch of parked, idling trucks with their refers on. Then hope that someone doesn't block you in because they don't like RV's.
If you're not comfortable maneuvering your vehicle at other than a truck stop.....just say so. Giving us a bunch of reasons why they are better doesn't fly, because we've all used them at one time or another.
