- Toolguy5Explorer IIIIf you go through the RV Island you can use a Credit Card without going inside.

NEW! Good Sam Club members now save more at Pilot Flying J!
Great news, Pilot Flying J has increased their fuel discount to Club members!
Club members now save 5¢ off gas & 8¢ off diesel at Pilot Flying J.
Swipe your Good Sam Club membership card at the pump to enjoy these instant savings.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Insert your form of payment at the pump
Step 2: Swipe your Good Sam Club membership card (aka “loyalty card”)
The SAVINGS are INSTANTLY applied at the pump!
Find locations that offer both gas & diesel discounts
Find locations that offer diesel discounts only - bfast54ExplorerAnd that half mile down the road is a Ma and Pa's station with little bitty lanes and Island cover that you're going to take off or scrape your roof on ---and then you're going to have to DEAL with the four wheelers in their cars coming in out of there and blocking you in --and then you gotta get the road back to the expressway ,and get on the expressway
no thanks - minnowExplorer

If you need to use the truck lanes (as most of us DP drivers do) you need their card to start the pump. You still can use you own CC but you'll have to go inside to start the transaction. So I use the FJ RV Plus Card.
If you have a Good Sam membership card. You can swipe a Vista CC and then the Good Sam and the Diesel RV Island pump will start.
No need to go inside. Or need to use the truck lanes.
My Visa CC gives me 3% after using the GS 3¢ discount so I use it and not the Flying J Plus I have. On $2.45 fuel that gives me a 10¢ gal discount.
And a 1/2 mile down the road, you can save 25 cents or more on diesel and won't have to spend half a day swiping one card after another to get the pump to turn on. - Triker33Explorer

Do Flying J locations accept Visa? Or do you HAVE to have their card?
FJ accepts all major credit cards for payment but be advised that you may run into $ limitations when pumping fuel, typically $100. that means a second swipe of the same or different card if you pay at the pump. and that's not just a FJ issue you may encounter that at most fuel stops.
we have the https://www.rvpluscard.com/ProgramDetails/ which has no limit as described and gives a discount on gas to boot. this is a charge card and not a credit card. balances are deducted in full from your bank account monthly. - Guy_RoanExplorerYes, I use it all the time and also if you use your good Sam card you get three cents off per gallon.

- acritzerExplorer IICool...thanks. Talking gas, not diesel.
- lanerdExplorer IIGas or Diesel? If gas, yes they accept all major credit cards. If you have their RV Plus card, you get a discount. If Diesel, the accept all cards but you can only use their card at the pump (with a discount). All others you have to go inside. At least this has been my experience.
