I walk through the scanner, it beeps, they pull me aside and wand me and that's it.
From time to time I have been patted down. The pat down seems to be random.
No big deal. It's the way it is now when flying.
I had a hip replacement and don't have a card. Too easy to copy. Not a big deal to go through scanner and get patted down. I have found that the full body scanners are better and much faster to get through security.
