In the spring my wife and I will be heading out as full-timers with our Aire Super Lynx inflatable kayak. This is another line of compact boats to consider.
This is one awesome inflatable. The selling point for us was their 10 year unconditional warranty. If anything happens to this, regardless of reason, they will fix or replace it. Also, this boat is very rigid and feels like no other inflatable. These folks are the people who make the white water rafts that are used for running the rapids of the most aggressive rivers, and other high performance inflatable boats.
Our boat is a convertible two or one person boat. One of the best features is the removable skeg which allows straight line tracking. If you want more maneuverability, such as in waves, just take it off.
