I've never driven in California or even been in the state, but what is the point of having large vehicles moving at a slower speed? It seems unsafe to me. When you have someone doing 65 - 70 mph and maybe they aren't paying attention or whatever, they come around a turn in the road and meet up with a large, slow moving vehicle. They have someone to their left doing the same speed, so they can't get out of the way. Sounds like an accident waiting to happen.
