True story, not out of CA but .. Well, I suspect it could happen there too.
Michigan State Police parked an aircraft, unknown if fixed or rotary wing, over a stretch of I-696 National Speedway near Novi-MI early one week.. Wrote 85 Tickets before they had to return to base for refueling,, Minimum speed to get ticketed 85MPH, And the winner was doing 105MPH (Fastest ticket)
Later that same week, they parked the other type of aircraft in the same space (Fixed wing flys a small circle, 'copter just hovers). and wrote another 85 Tickets, ranging from 85 MPH to 105.. Yes, 105 AGAIN,,
Why do I think the same guy got both 105 tickets?
