I agree and so does the state of Ohio. For years commercial trucks had to travel 10 to 15 mph slower than non commercial. Several years back they admitted that the facts did not support it being safer so the limits were raised and now all vehicles travel the same speed.
Accidents happen because of differences in speed. The safest environment is when all vehicles are traveling the same direction and at the same speed. California needs to figure that out.
