I think the easiest way to apply 300 ft lbs of torque without the proper tools one time as the OP asked with a 2 ft breaker bar is if you know how much you weigh just stand on the bar at the right distance from the nut. If you are trying to torque your lug nuts and you weigh 150 lbs stand on the end. Unfortunately most of us no longer weigh 150 lbs. So if your current weight is 200 lbs you stand 6 ins from the end of the bar to achieve 300 ft lbs. For something like lug nuts this is close enough.
