My Equalizer hitch requires 430 FT-Lb torque on the ball. Had a truck shop do it with a 4 foot long torque wrench.
The shank bolts need 320 Ft-lb. I use a 24 in breaker bar and put my full weight on it. I still weigh 155 lb. same as 30 years ago. 2 feet x 155 lb gives 310 foot pounds.
For all the other bolts on the hitch and wheels I use my calibrated torque wrench. It does not go high enough for the bolts above and I have no itert in wrecking it.
For the OP - 150 lbs on a 2 foot breaker bar will give the correct torque - at least goo enough for a hitch.
And yes - you were clear in all your posts that you intended to use a breaker bar for this - not your torque wrench.
