I double what Beemerphile1 stated. To me it's no different than any other pastime or hobby we enjoy, whether someone approves of it or not means very little in the scope of things. I don't brag or bore anyone with subjects that don't interest them as much as they interest me, and I expect the same in return. My best friends are my wife and kids and camping is one hobby we all share, but there are things they love to do that I may not have the same enthusiasm for and I'm sure they don't care for some of the things I love, no skin off my nose as that's the way the ball bounces. Life is too short to not enjoy the things that make you happy, if someone wants to participate they'll let you know as much, no reason for love loss as you could still enjoy their companionship in a different manner, maybe taking up something they like to do.
