When our grandson was about 10 years old, we asked him if he could go anywhere in the RV with us, where would it be. We live in Florida. He said "all the way up to Canada" - his parents couldn't seem to get the time off together until his first year in high school. They squeezed out 9 days with and off we went up the coast. We stopped in Charlotte NC to see the Nascar stuff, stopped in Gettysburg, drove through the mountains, stopped in Newburgh NY at the KOA and took the bus tour into NYC. He said he wanted to move there! LOL. Then over to Niagara Falls where he could see Canada. They flew back from Buffalo and we kept going. Best trip ever because he was included in the planning. He is now 22 years old and still talks about the trip. Get out the Atlas and talk about each location's pros and let them be included. Must see: Glacier National Park, The Tetons, Redwood Trees, Yellowstone. Maine, Niagara Falls, Gettysburg, New York City. Everglades and the Keys in Florida. Enjoy! they grow up so fast!!
