We live on the East Coast (and I mean ON the Atlantic!) I am waiting for my kids to get a little older (so they remember it); I want to take them out west to see all the "Americana" Sites (Rushmore, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Glacier, Arches, Moab, Ghost Towns...) and the Pacific Ocean. (I've always wondered if it looked different than our ocean, silly, I know!)

It took me 37 years to finally make it to the Pacific Ocean and it's very different. My mom asked me to get her a seashell, but there were just rocks. It's cool seeing the sunset over the ocean instead of the bay!
