This may be reaching, but... are you using Firefox on your computer when you try the reservations system? If so, try using Google. Sometimes computer programs don't properly work with certain operating systems.
Look on the various Disney forums online for help. A lot of people out there would love to help out!
The last time I tried to reservere was last October during the week. Everytime I try and reserve online it says no vacancy. Many times I just pick random dates and stick in and they alway come back full, except for the tent sites. I have used Internet Explorer and Chrome on many occasions. I guess next time I will try calling instead of trying online. I have never tried to reserve during a holiday.
