- rockhillmanorExplorerThis is for free to 'use on line' NO download.
http://www.instantstreetview.com/
Short, sweet, great street view, and more importantly no junk downloaded to your computer.
Albeit still google but with out all the 20 clicks you have to go thru to get a good street view since they changed their website where they eliminated the street views within the directions. - wa8yxmExplorer IIIJust downloaded, The download is the normal paid version of Google Earth but when you click on the links it says that when the user name and license key prompts show up enter your E-Mail address and the key GEPFREE.
Seems to work, just printed a shot of the campground where I am parked.
Will have to cross-install with my other laptop. - pnicholsExplorer IIJust stop Google tracking in your PC:
If using Internet Explorer, in "Tools" just access "Tracking Protection" and add the "Stop Google Tracking" protection to the list for the built-in tracking protection inside Internet Explorer -

Ya it's long and involved and no one reads it but it's IN there where they state all what they are going to take from you, what they are going to sell and to whom AND all what you are going to allow them to take. It's frightening.
Just yesterday I was going to sign up to do all my SS stuff on line. Opened up the privacy info before clicking ok and OMG! I was shocked at all what even the gov was going to do with my info and sell every time I accessed my account. Including hitting my credit report and selling my info to creditors every time I used it to view my just Social Security info? Backed out of that asap and drove down to their office just to change my address. - mich800Explorer

Of course google offers this stuff for free.
Once you download anything google they are up and inside 'everything' on your computer and all you info. They then link you to FB Twitter and grab all your contacts, email etc. And trust me you can't stop it or get it off.
I ended up buying another laptop and now stay completely away from anything google. Still amazes me they get away with all this.:(
It is not just Google. If you have the ability/option you should always select custom or advanced install. You will see that there are many add on programs that are automatically selected yes for install. Seems to be the popular method to get this tangent software installed now. - rockhillmanorExplorer
