Great, we can look together. I use to have a big C-Band dish, remember those 12ft monsters. Well one aspect of those was wild feeds. Programming that isn't listed but are distribution paths to the stations. If FTA has these wild feeds then no matter what regular programming is shown the wild feeds are often prime time and syndicated shows so there's a lot to watch if there are numerous feeds.
How about we stay in touch musicman54. I'm on the edge of just ordering one. Now for some "dark" side of it... in researching this I found that these same FTA dishes are being used to pirate programming also. But I'm not interested in this although I might be interested in some economical paid channels. I just don't have enough information yet. I do know that when I had a C-BAND dish, you could buy programming super cheap. I'm wondering if the same future may be down the road for FTA dishes.
Anyhow, let's keep in touch. I might just buy one soon and I'll know what's up.
