I was looking at that box. So I'm convinced! Does the receiver have an option to assign virtual channel numbers? I know this is a wild question but my wife will never get the hang of selecting a sat then a transponder or frequency. I would like to find a receiver that lets you program virtual channel numbers so all she needs to do is select channel "20" for example and the receiver knows which sat and frequency to go to.
Does the open box have the PVR function? Can this PVR function record by a guide and repeat the recording each time that show comes on?
