Why is it that campgrounds list free wi-fi in the Good Sam book but after you check in and paid your money to camp they say it is only free for one hour....Duh.....and the clock starts as soon as you...

the closest we came to a "metered" wifi connection at a campground was at a place in ohio. a login to the connection was good for precisely 60-mins (no charge) and then you were dropped. you could immediately log back in but it was a PITA. I recall asking the desk clerk howcum and was told that it was to keep folks from streaming video. I pointed out that while inconvenient it certainly wouldn't halt streaming. then I was told it was to keep the non-paying guests like the neighbors from using the wifi. I politely suggested that the use of something other than GUEST as a password might solve that problem.
