Free Wi-Fi??
Why is it that campgrounds list free wi-fi in the Good Sam book but after you check in and paid your money to camp they say it is only free for one hour....Duh.....and the clock starts as soon as you...

We spent 6 weeks on the road this Spring and early Summer with 5 weeks of that in our truck camper. Since we were going at a leisurely rate we didn't do the Walmart thing like when we are making time, stopping after dark and pulling out early, we spent most nights in campgrounds both public and private (a few nights in friends driveways). One night per campground but one that was two because of things we wanted to. In all those campgrounds we had one I would call very good and a few that were good, the rest were fair to bad. In all our years of traveling I can only think of one campgrounds I would rate excellent and it was better than our home broadband for bandwidth and reliability. We have carried MiFi or now an iPad with hotspot capability, as our backup for many years now. We also use our own network for any bank or retail sites.
