I bought a good 50' hose and cut it into 22', 15', 10' and 3' lengths. I put a metal disc on each piece with a cable tie and labeled each length. Rarely do I need anything longer than the 15 footer but easy to add appropriate piece. I hookup the ends to each section and store in a compartment. The tags make it easy to grab the right length.
I also carry rollup flat hose, but use only to fill my tank when I need the extra length. They wear out easily and will burst in the sun if left out.
