There are a variety of very good ideas. I didn't read all the posts.
I am somewhat handicapped with back etc. Good hoses weight a ton, when you are bent over trying to get it out of a compartment or coil a stiff one up.
I like to use short ones that are light and easier coiled. A 25' seldom used, a couple of 15', and a couple of 10' and 4' and one 50' hardly ever used. Only enough hose(s) for the site.
Someone has got to be making a powered hose reel that will handle a 50'and fit a standard bay. Problem is it will take up space for other things. The way the things are now made might as well just buy a new one, at each campground, or look for the ones, on the picnic table I left across America. Just buy a bag one hose ends.
