All my 5th wheels have had Norcold fridges. I have always traveled with them running on propane, have never been concerned about them being level and have never had a problem. I've read that if you do have a problem caused by running the fridge while on a serious slope the fix is to take the fridge out and rotate it around to get all the refrigerant back where it belongs.
