Just looked at the Aerolite website. Looks like almost all TTs around that size have a GVWR of about 7500 pounds. Pretty sure the ops stated weight of 6460 is empty, making the total weight of the combined vehicles closer to 14,320. Assuming 7500 pounds for GVWR of the TT, 10 - 15% of which should be on the tongue - let's call it 12% then that would be about 900lbs on the tongue and the 1000 lb weight distribution hitch should be about right. Don't know what else is in the Truck while towing, fuel, supplies, other persons, in addition the tongue weight of a guestimated 900 lbs - probably at payload capacity of the truck.
With the length of that trailer, the truck, the light front end, and the type of hitch - this is probably quite the rig to handle in cross winds.
I agree with goducks10 opinion, probably doesn't matter how much money you throw at the tow vehicle and hitches, I don't think you well ever have a solid feel towing that trailer with that Tow Vehicle.
