I also like the idea, and am planning on getting one. An OTR truck driver has one, and tells us that more and more of them are getting them for their own defense, and to be able to record and turn over to LEOs things that happen on the road. Be aware that there are several things about the way they work to be considered, and get good advice before buying blind. Some record and rewind, pausing the recording for a time period.
