OK, I appreciate the feed back. So why does Safeway accept a Debit card at the pump for "cash price"? Arco does the same (or used to) accept Debit card at cash price? I guess it's up to the seller.
Anyhow, no big deal and I didn't lose any sleep over this, but I thought that a debit card was the "same" as using cash. I do see that if the vendor has to pay an up charge then they would pass that along.
