No it is called monopolistic control with no other source to make a choice of purchase. When independent gas stations thrived gas was .19 per gallon. The Corps took over and gas is now $4 per gallon. Price controls and the cessation of oil exports from the US are direly in need.

Same with these parts (Northern Cali). When I'm on the road I simply ask when I'm buying fuel and decide whether I want to pay the 35 cent transaction fee to save $4.00 or just let the credit card lend me the money for the 4 bucks.
If they want greenbacks only and I have an option I might roll on just for the Principle of the matter....just depends. That's called free enterprise.
