Use to be you were proud when you accomplished something. Now everyone is proud because they exist and do nothing except take, take, take...
Hit the nail on the head-- I'm 55 and think that I'm last of a age group that still cares and expects to work for anything and everything. Raised that way. Had to do chores everyday and pitch in for all projects around the house. Now kids sit around with computers or phones. EXPECT Mom and Dad to provide to every whim. No discipline because a swat on the butt now brings on protective services. Swat on the butt got my attention many times and made me completely understand that doing something wrong had consequences.
Raised with computer generation just wants to shoot at people for fun. Very sad. Randu
