I told someone to turn down such and such a road and we are the first place on the right hand side. A while later I realized that I gave him the wrong instructions... we are on the left hand side a mile further down the road. I couldn't get hold of the fellow to correct my mistake so I was a little surprised when he showed up. I asked him if he had any trouble finding the place and he said no my directions were great. I was a little puzzled so I dug a little deeper. Back then we had a big multicolored slide in our front yard that could be seen from the highway. The guy heard my instructions wrong. I mistakenly said "first place on the right hand side" but he heard "first place with the rainbow slide" and had no trouble.
